Liver is a major site of cancer metastases implantation. High toxicity of current treatments of liver metastases limits their administration, leading to a lack of effective treatment for patients with unresectable liver metatases.

The aim of RADIOTARGET is to obtain a radioimmunotherapy agent, comprising the beta emitter 188Re and a monolclonal antibody, able to selectiverly target and bind in vivo imaging of the targeting properties of radiolabelled monoclonal antibodies. CMMI will also use in vivo molecular imaging to test the therapeutic effects of the new radiotherapeutic agent in animal models specifically developed by consortium.
